Life is a constant roller coaster of evolution and change. According to Carl Rogers, “the good life is a process not a state of being.” Understanding ourselves and getting some direction in living the good life can be a challenge and somewhere we all aspire to do that.
That’s where coaching comes in. Life coaching is a supportive, non judgemental relationship between coach and coachee where the means and style of communication used is stimulating and motivating. The underlying intent of every coaching interaction is to build the coachee’s self belief.

Coaching focuses on future possibilities not past mistakes and issues. It’s about understanding you have a choice and gaining clarity on what you want for yourself.
It’s about committing yourself to wanting a better you and taking responsibility and action to move towards it. It’s about setting goals, and finding ways to achieve them.
It looks at people in terms of their future potential and not their past performance.
Counselling is a helping relationship based on the principle of empowerment. It elicits that we as human beings are distinctive in our growth and we all have the inner capacity to reach our maximum potential. We all possess unique qualities and our problems are set in context to our individual experiences.
It’s a process where the counsellor provides a safe, confidential and non judgemental environment for the client to identify their problems and find a way to address them in an empathic way. It doesn’t involve giving advice or direction. The therapist supports the client in finding the answers and uncovering reasons for difficult feelings, chaotic thoughts, and behaviour patterns.

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. In easier words it’s like learning the language of your own mind. We all have a unique perspective of the world we live in, our worlds are made up of complex territories and boundaries and our beliefs that get more rigid as we grow.
We have the power to shift these beliefs and redraw the boundaries.
It’s about understanding how our mind operates, the conscious and the unconscious.
Understanding what is happening for you in your unconscious mind will help you understand what you want out of life.
Hence it goes hand in hand with coaching and counselling because understanding what’s happening in your unconscious mind can uncover all the difficulties, barriers and internal obstacles you tend to create for yourselves. Your negative beliefs and any mental turmoil which you battle with can all come to surface with gaining the awareness.
NLP methods and insights help you feel more in charge of your thoughts and feelings. They enable you to run your life more successfully and communicate with other people more effectively
